SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping Policy

Orders placed by 1:00 pm EST for in-stock items are normally shipped same day from the respective location.

For backordered items, there are several options available.  In any case, we will contact you through email or phone to request your preference on whether you would like the in stock items shipped and ship the backordered items as soon as they become available.  When the partial order is shipped and invoiced, you are not charged for the backordered item(s) until these items are shipped. You are billed only for what is shipped. If you chose to wait for the entire order before shipping, your payment will not be processed until the backordered items are available.

Shipping rates are based on product size, weight and destination and will reflect the appropriate amount during the checkout process.  However, additional fees may apply to include all applicable charges for expedited delivery (i.e. methods other than UPS Ground), insurance, hazardous shipping fees, or additional charges for deliveries to an extended service area. Some carriers will charge a fee if the shipping address given is not accurate or correct. Please verify the address you have given is accurate and correct to avoid additional charges. We reserve the right to require a signature at time of delivery.

Each parcel carriers $100.00 insurance against loss or damage. Additional insurance coverage will be added as required per parcel. Open and examine all packages promptly. Notify Unhooked Aviation customer service of any discrepancies in the order. If a package delivered by UPS arrives damaged or is missing items, report this to the driver immediately. UPS will issue a report on the damage to Unhooked Aviation Ltd. Liability Corp at which time a replacement shipment can be made.

Return & Exchange Policy

We accept returns of unsold, unused current materials. The materials need to arrive back to us in re-sellable, as new, condition. A credit will be placed on the method of payment used. The exceptions to this policy would be items that are “special order” or “airplane specific” and customized products and Navigation Charts.  We limit the time to return or exchange any item to 45 days from the time it was shipped from our facilities.
